Pierre Dmitrienko was a post-war artist, mainly associated with the Nouvelle École de Paris. He was a French male artist born in Paris (FR) in 1925.
One of Pierre Dmitrienko’s first verified exhibitions was '6 Jeunes Peintres de Paris at Galerie Blanche' in Stockholm, 1951, and one of the most recent exhibitions was 'Abstracts from the 1950s - Recent Acquisitions and Unpublished Works at Galerie Arnoux' in Paris, 2022. Pierre Dmitrienko is most frequently exhibited in France, but also had exhibitions in Switzerland, Italy and elsewhere. Dmitrienko has had at least two solo shows and 23 group shows over the last 71 years.
Dmitrienko has also been in no less than 3 art fairs and in 1 biennial. A notable show was the '30th Venice Biennale at La Biennale di Venezia', in Venice, 1960. Other notable shows were at La Maison Rouge in Paris, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City, NY. His work has also been exhibited with Tal Coat and Leopold Survage. Pierre Dmitrienko’s art is in at least 3 museum collections: at Tate Britain in London, and Musee d´Art Moderne et d`Art Contemporain Nice (MAMAC) in Nice, among others.
