Gego (Gertrud Goldschmidt) born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1912. She studied in Stuttgart, Germany; she got a degree in architect. Gego was trained as an artist with a tendency constructive about the atmosphere of Caracas. Although Gego is an artist unclassified; her work is based on structure reticular built with metallic module. Her work produces a similarity of organic growth, such as the foliage.
