Biographies: Carmelo Niño

Bio

(1951 - present)

Venezuelan painter. At the age of 15 he studies at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas Neptalí Rincón in Maracaibo, Venezuela, receiving a state scholarship 3 years later. He accomplished his first individual exhibit in the year of 1970, receiving regional awards in 1971 and 1973, culminating in a total of 3 awards received during the year of 1975. He's participated in several collective exhibits & biennials in several cities around the world, including Paris, Venice, Mexico City and Miami.
