Bio
José Luis “Chuchi” Sánchez (b. 1957) - Venezuelan artist naturalized and currently residing in Spain. Throughout a diverse career development, having exerted professions such as architect, museum designer and university professor, Chuchi Sánchez has had an equally diverse career as an artist, for which he has received various acknowledgments - such as the Grand Prize of the Ecuador Biennial in 1992, and an Honorable Mention during the National Sculpture Award of Venezuela in 2017; among others.
