Venezuelan Masters: Félix Perdomo

Félix Perdomo

Born in Santa Teresa del Tuy, Miranda, 1959 (d. 2015). Painter, draftsman and sculptor. He studied at the Cristóbal Rojas School of Fine Arts in Caracas, between 1976 and 1979. He then assisted the Art School of the Pedagogical University Institute of Caracas, 1980-1986. He participated in the activities of the El Herbario workshop in that same teaching institute, from 1984 to 1990. Perdomo is later on awarded Second Prize for the PSI program, by the Museum of the Institute of Contemporary Art in New York, 1991-1992. He participated in twenty-nine collective exhibitions until 1995.
