Bio

He was born in Caracas in 1909. He takes classes of painter Antonio Alcántara, and in 1922 it entered the Academy of Beautiful Arts of Caracas. It continued his formation in New York in the Cooper Academy Union, and in 1931 it returned definitively to Venezuela. Its paisajista work can be located within the School of Caracas, being considered most baroque of them, always worried about the movement and the light, in a very characteristic style. It made several individual ones in the Museum of Beautiful Arts, institution that in 1967 dedicated a retrospective one to him.
